Catapult Analytics is power-packed with UDF functionality to make your data analysis quick and simple. User Defined Fields (UDF’s) allow you to assign your own fields to data exported from Catapult. By associating your values with counties, zip codes, manufacturers, etc, UDF’s can be utilized to quickly analyze your data by territories, buyer, or equipment. For example, by associating sales people with the counties in their sales territory, an organization can easily analyze the success rate of the individuals within their sales team.
To enable the effortless application of your UDF values to exported data from Catapult, EDA has designed Catapult Analytics to automatically apply the UDF values found in the eight UDF tables to your exported data. Thus, if you choose to utilize the power of UDF’s you can simply open the applicable setup table, enter your UDF values, and click save. Then, the next time you refresh your Analytics Tools, your custom UDF values will be available for filtering and sorting.
