If your mailing list download contains extra commas or does not appear to have formatted correctly, use the following steps to re-format:
1. Open Microsoft Excel.
2. Choose File>>Open, or click the "Open" icon.
3. Navigate to the folder where you saved the Mailing List file.
4. At the bottom of the screen where it asks Files of Type, select All Files. Highlight your file and click on Open.
5. A Text Import Wizard box will appear to help format the text.
6. Under "Original Data Type," choose "Delimited." Then click "Next."
7. Under "Delimiters," make sure the only box checked is "Comma" and click "Next."
8. Click "Finish."
9. Choose File>>Save As and under Files of Type, select Microsoft Excel workbook. Then, click Save.
When you re-open the new excel file, it will be formatted correctly.
